The horse is a herbivore. Nature originally planned to provide him with everything he needed for a balanced ration of plants, which he could freely seek in nature. The limited pastures and the use of the horse for sporting purposes completely upset this natural balance and caused nutritional deficiencies in our companion. The contribution of oats and barley, rich in starch, provides the necessary energy for the horse but it causes unbalance of the phosphorus/calcium ratio in the feed ration. This results in bone decalcification and weakening of the organism on several levels. In the domestic horse, whether in the field or the in the stable, a daily intake of calcium, various minerals, oligo-elements and vitamins is essential. Essential Tonus provides all the additional micronutrients necessary for the horse and constitutes the dietary foundation for the horse. INSTRUCTION FOR USE
For horses with a traditional diet (hay + oats or barley), distribute Essential Tonus constantly in the ration. Pregnant and lactating mares: 150 g. Stallions: 150 g. Racing or sport horses: 100 g. 2 months to 1 year foals: 50 à 85 g. Small horses and ponies: 50 à 100 g. For horses with mixed feeding (hay + pellets + oats or barley), incorporate half of the amounts of Essential Tonus above the daily ration for each type of horses.
